For the 1st time since 2011, Formula SimRacing has 16 races on the calendar, many from the 2015 season are returning for this year, however, we have some that are returning after a hiatus of a few seasons.

Spanish Grand Prix

FSR returns to Spain for the season proper after missing the 2014 and 2015 seasons, and returns to Catalunya, which last hosted the Spanish Grand Prix back in 2011. Catalunya featured in the 2015 Winter Series and will also play host to a pre-season test for this season on February 27th.

German Grand Prix

Although FSR has always had a German Grand Prix, and has raced at Hockenheim before, if you’re below a certain age you may not be overly familiar with this ‘old’ layout of Hockenheim, but for those that do remember it and miss it a little bit, well FSR this year has decided to roll back the years and host it’s German Grand Prix at this classic venue. With the high speeds you can reach on the tracks iconic 4 long straights. It will certainly be one not to miss.

Turkish Grand Prix

Yes, your eyes are not playing tricks on you, Turkey makes its return to Formula SimRacing for 2016. Last raced in FSR back in 2011, a very enjoyable and very satisfying place to race, especially if you can get a good lap in. It is known for its 4-part turn 8 corner and many elevation changes over the course of a lap, hopefully the Grand Prix can be just as exciting as the venue itself.

Hungarian Grand Prix

The Hungaroring makes its return for the 1st time in 2 years. Known for being a very twisty and bumpy circuit, overtaking can be very difficult around here, but its also a difficult track to get right over 1 lap. So grid positions around here will be the key to success.

Moreover, the signups are already open and with only a few weeks to go until the first races of the season, make sure you don't miss it! For any additional info visit our forums where you can have exclusive access to the 2016 car and everything you need to know about Formula-Simracing .
