With a pairing who are no strangers to FSR (Marco Conti and Muhammed Patel) they have every reason to be optimistic for the season. Last year Muhammed finished runner-up in the Drivers World Championship and Marco had a podium in China, and as part of the Twister Racing Family, the benefit of having access to the same information as the defending champions will be key to their ambitions of sending a message to the league and consistently challenging for places at the front of the field.

We managed to catch up with Muhammed Patel to ask him what he thought about the season ahead.
Muhammed Patel
“It’s been a weird preparation for this season, since I never had the idea to race, but a few things occurred and there was an empty seat available, which I happily decided to take. I’ve been teammates with Marco before, and that went excellently, so I can’t wait for another season as his teammate, unfortunately it won’t be a full season, so there’s no end goal for this year, just to have fun and be competitive in the races that I do attend and maybe grab a victory. As for the thoughts of the mod, I have barely driven it so far, and won’t have time to drive a lot before Melbourne, so that will be a struggle – but from the few laps I’ve driven it should be interesting to balance pushing, wear and fuel. I hope for the best”
