Precision Motorsports lead the way in Sepang
Rasmus Tali has taken his third victory in the World Series, by winning in Sepang, Malaysia. It was a Precision Motorsports 1-2-3 with Mattias Stahre finishing in 2nd and David Martinez taking 3rd.
Once again it was Tali on pole position, this time with Stefan Kanitz alongside. The race didn't last very long for Kanitz, who suffered a launch control failure on the grid which immediately caused a huge start-line crash that eliminated Yakimenko, Bengtsson, Van der Geest, Debacquer and Kanitz himself. Meanwhile, Tali and Stahre lead the race easily, lapping a second per lap faster than the chasing pack. Finishing in 3rd place was a good result for Martinez after a difficult qualifying session for the Leoncavallo Precision Motorsports driver. Stephane Rouault finished in a solid 4th place, Petter Kaasa eventually took 5th after many battles and Dimitri De Matos was 6th. Cyril Werdmuller took 7th after starting from the pitlane, Timon Bolier was 8th, Karim Wezenberg took 9th and Ben Tusting was 10th.
The next events from Malaysia will come on Sunday, the World Trophy (12:00GMT)
and the AutoGP World Championship (18:00GMT), Live!
