Rasmus Tali
Rasmus Tali has taken his second victory in the World Series, by winning in Melbourne, Australia. It was a Precision Motorsports 1-2 with Mattias Stahre finishing in 2nd. Karim Wezenberg put in a great drive to take 3rd place and his first podium of 2010.
There were no surprises in qualifying, Rasmus Tali and Mattias Stahre locked out the front row for Precision Motorsports. The race began with Tali leading with Stahre following in his wheel tracks. After their pitstops, it seemed like Stahre would launch an attack on Tali, until he made an error and slipped back. The battle for 3rd place kept the spectators entertained until the finish, with Karim Wezenberg holding David Martinez behind to take the podium position. Petter Kaasa finished behind those two in 5th, Cyril Werdmuller took 6th, Stefan Kanitz finished 7th and Eduardo Prado took 8th.
The next events from Melbourne will come on Sunday: the World Trophy (12:00GMT) and the AutoGP World Championship (18:00GMT), Live!
