Dimitri De Matos Dimitri De Matos Dimitri De Matos has taken his second victory of the 2010 World Series season today at Hockenheim, Germany. The GhostSpeed Racing Team driver completed a perfect result with pole position, fastest lap and the win. Finishing in second place was Cyril Werdmuller, who moves into the lead of the drivers' championship after yet another strong performance. The final podium place went to Stephane Rouault who made his first appearance on a FSR podium since 2008.

World Series - Conti Collects Silverstone Win

Marco Conti Marco Conti Marco Conti has been declared the Silverstone winner after a post-race administration error by Mattias Stahre meant the Precision Motorsports driver was disqualified from 1st position. Therefore Conti was handed his first victory in FSR competition, an impressive result considering the GS Racing driver started at the back of the grid due to a disconnection issue in qualifying. The final podium position went to Jeffrey Rietveld after a strong performance on his first outing of the year. The result means that Stahre's championship lead over team mate Cyril Werdmuller falls to 15 points.

World Series - Niza talks about coming 3rd in Valencia

9 out of 18 races in the World Series are now behind, and we had a quick chat to Santiago Niza (Twister-Racing) who finished the European Grand Prix in third place, which meant the Spaniard's best result of the year. Unfortunately, we couldn't get quotes from the other podium drivers this time.

Karim Wezenberg Karim Wezenberg Karim Wezenberg has taken his first victory in the World Series division today in Valencia, Spain. The race was characterised by incidents, including a dramatic incident between the race leaders Cyril Werdmuller and Stefan Kanitz that cost both drivers their front wings. Although Werdmuller was first to cross the finish line, a post-race penalty dropped the Dutch driver to 4th. Wezenberg gladly inherited the victory despite having to visit the pitlane for a new front wing too, with Fred Gosling promoted to 2nd after also having to pit to repair damage.
