Twister-Racing has exchanged hands in 2008 just after the end of the 2008 season. Twister-Racing would like to announce that Phillip Estrada is the new owner of the Twister-Racing WC license and team. Philip has many ambitions, plans and others possibilities.

Another season finished, another FSR WC champion crowned. Except that the name is still the same old. The league has during its seven years of existence seen a number of great champions, but only one of them has been able to secure the title not only once, but three times straight, namely Bruno Marques. FSR Press had a chance to catch up with the champion and discuss the past year, what it takes to become a sim racer of top calibre and the future perspectives. Interlagos, Brazil - After 32 strenuous weeks of racing, the season 2008 was finally ready to close in on one of the best venues, Autódromo José Carlos Pace or as better known, Interlagos. After an intense victory fight at Shanghai between Bruno Marques and Blair Disley, the pattern for this race would be somewhat different, as a number of top drivers were absent from the race, including Marques, Ondrej Kuncman and John-Eric Saxén, whereas David Greco, Yannick Lapchin and Stephane Rouault would reappear to fight for the finale victory. |

Shanghai, China - After seeing a clear victory at Fuji from Bruno Marques, the league continued towards the last two rounds on the foreign continent tour. With both the drivers' and the cunstructors' championship already being decided in favour of Marques and GhostSpeed earlier on, the focus was mainly drawn on whether Marques could finish in a sixth victory in row, and whether the speed rocket Patrick De Wit would take his first victory of season. |
