Bono Huis victorious

After hectic moments, the first AutoGP World Championship race of the 2010 season in the deserts of Bahrain has finished in style. Precision Motorsports' Bono Huis started the weekend stormingly by grabbing pole in qualifying in front of newcomer Ronny Hähnel, and the Dutch continued from where he left by leading the whole race and finishing in a first ever victory after a perfect weekend, including pole, victory and fastest lap. Domagoj Malezic finished in second for Twister-Racing after close moments with Ronny Hähnel, whose mistake in the closing stages yielded third place to team-mate Rasmus Tali of Leoncavallo Precision Motorsports. Favourites Bruno Marques and David Greco did not have their best possible weekends and finished P4 and P5 respectively. Full report to follow in the coming days.
