Malaysia hosts Round 2 after an exciting season opener at Bahrain. Twister owns the podium as Klop and Holmes take the 1st and 3rd positions.
After an exciting first round on FSR's new platform, the rookies of the Pro division went to Malaysia for Round 2 of 12. The second pole of the season went to Ghostspeed's Jorrick Boshove, with Twister-Racing’s Rens Klop locking out the front row.
At the race start , Klop took advantage of a better getaway than Boshove and in doing so snatched the lead at the first corner, while Jonathan Holmes made a fantastic start to go from 8th to 4th at Turn 1. The first retirement came along with Dewald Nel who had a suspension problem on lap 4, with Jordi San Andres retiring with the same failure 2 laps later.
The winner after a tense race was Twister's Rens Klop, who maintained the Spanish teams dominance in the lower divisions, second was GhostSpeed's Jorrick Boshove, with the final podium position going to Jonathan Holmes, putting the cherry on the cake for Twister. It was also a good race for the Faster Than Speed pairing of Mikko Suokas and Guglielmo Matti, with the duo finishing 4th and 10th respectively.
