The 2016 season started with a brand new car for Formula-SimRacing and with it uncertainty with how the season would go.  It turns out the car is well suited to bring about the many battles this season has already seen and we are sure will be seen in the second half of the season.

Round 1 of the Formula-SimRacing World Championship was hosted at Albert Park Circuit in Melbourne.  Pole position was taken by Origin Front Row Racing's Jeroen Kweekel.  Kweekel would not hold the lead long as VBMadCape Racing's Jim Parisis would take the lead and eventually win the race.  The highlight of the race though would be the battle for the rest of the podium between Musto Racing's Muhammed Patel, Origin's Kuba Brzezinski, and NetRex's Michele D'Alessandro.  See the action in the video below!
